Attention: new venue for the French regulars’ table – Hotel Hax!
Dear members and friends of the French section,
because of water damage at the Gruberhof, we will not be able to meet for our regulars’ tables in the “Kuhstall” at least until the end of this year.
So please come on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, after the visit to the maize maze, at 7:30 pm to the Gasthof zum Lamm (Hotel Hax)!
Friendship in practice, in a relaxed setting
The twinning doesn’t live only from the big official visits, but above all from personal contacts in everyday life. Our regulars’ tables offer you the ideal setting to keep the culture of our partner towns Saint-Péray and Dicomano alive between trips.
Whether you are already a member of the Twinning Committee or simply want to get to know us: our gatherings are open to everyone interested. We chat, laugh and plan, give talks and show photos and films.
The French regulars’ table (Saint-Péray)
A touch of “savoir-vivre” in the heart of Groß-Umstadt. Our French regulars’ table is for all friends of our partner town Saint-Péray and lovers of the French way of life.
We meet regularly to exchange news from the Ardèche, plan upcoming encounters or simply chat over a drink.
Our meetings usually take place on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm in the “Kuhstall” of the Gruberhof. Guests are always warmly welcome; in rare cases (see the list of dates) prior registration is requested. Invitations are also published in the Odenwälder Bote and sent by email to members.

The Italian regulars’ table (Dicomano)
Benvenuti! Our Italian regulars’ table brings the flair of Tuscany and our partner town Dicomano to the Odenwald.
In a convivial setting we cultivate “amicizia”, discuss the activities of the Italian section’s board and enjoy time together. It is the perfect place to meet people with a passion for Italy and deepen German-Italian friendship.
